Islander Jive
The Islander Jive provides a stable and easy to paddle experience – perfect for exploring calm coastlines and sheltered waterways.
Having a rounded hull profile provides predictability along with a length of just under 11 foot will help the Jive keep agile and manoeuvrable while being paddled. This manoeuvrability will boost confidence when paddling along narrower waterways allowing you to easily point the boat in the direction that you need to go. When you need to keep the boat in a straight line the drop down skeg will make tracking this boat really easy, helping you to conserve energy in the long run.
In the stern of the boat there is a large oval storage hatch. This will provide a drier area to store any kit required – some lunch, spare clothes or a trolley such as the Railblaza C-Tug Trolley. There are also deck lines included in front of the cockpit which are in an easy to reach location ideal for attaching any accessories that you may need easy access to.
This boat will keep you comfortable for anything from short paddles to longer day trips. The larger cockpit size will mean that its easy to get in and out of the boat and the adjustable backband will enable you to adjust the seat to a comfortable position for you. Along with this, the moulded seat and padded knee/thigh pads help you to feel connected and comfortable while on the water.
