Inflatable Kayaks and Canoes

Gumotex use HTP Nitrilon fabrics in their kayaks which is a lighter version of the fabric used in RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) the type used by the RNLI and divers. This is simply the best fabric used for recreational paddling only the military use a heavier fabric.

The three fabrics are Basic, Better and Best.

The Basic fabric offers a budget inflatable kayak option, we don't stock these.
The Better fabric is used by inflatable kayak manufacturers that have a bladder inside an outer fabric like Sevylor.
The Best fabric is used by Gumotex and has been in constant development since 1950.
