Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL Angler
The Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL is one of the most well know tandem sit on top kayaks as it is used by most hire centres. The Malibu 2 XL is a great stable platform from which to have a great family adventure on the water. Suitable for a range of waters from light calm seas to lake and rivers, the Malibu 2 XL offers a 2 plus 1 seating option ideal for 2 adults and a child. The 2 comfort plus seats included are ideal for a days paddling keeping the bow and stern paddlers comfortable and allowing for the child's centre seat to have more room. You can add an additional 3rd seat to the middle of the Malibu 2 XL as an optional extra however this does cut down on the leg room and space for the paddlers.
Solid side carry handles makes car topping and transporting the Malibu 2 XL easier, while bow and stern handles make it even easier if there are 2 of you lifting and loading. The bungee on the bow and stern of the Malibu 2 XL allows you to store a small dry bag close to hand should you wish.
The Malibu 2 XL Angler spec is the same kayak as the Malibu 2 XL standard but with a few added extras: a central oval storage hatch, 4 flush deck mounts and 2 rod holders. Ocean kayak have also made the Malibu 2 XL Angler only available in either Brown Camo or Urban Camo to be in keeping with your surroundings when out of the water fishing.
Please note that the Malibu 2 XL Angler is only available in Brown Camo or Urban Camo and the Malibu 2 XL is only availed in Yellow, Surf, Envy or Sunrise.
