The Penobscot from Old Town Canoes is designed for touring inland waters such as canals, lakes, lochs as well as sheltered estuaries and coastlines. It has a square profile bow and stern for improved tracking.
Its stability and size makes the Penobscot the perfect family canoe or for those looking for a canoe with extra storage space for extended canoeing trips. The peobscot is built using Old Town's three layer polyethylene which makes the canoe very durable, buoyant and light.
The Penobscot is one of the most popular family canoes due to its size and stability, as standard it comes with two seats but additional seats can be purchased so that you can fit the whole family in. Also as standard the Penobscot includes two wood/webbing seats, thwart and yoke.
