The Old Town Discovery 158 has been historically one of our best selling canoes. It is designed for touring on lakes, rivers and canals. It is an ideal choice for families as its design makes it easy to manoeuvre even for beginners, yet it is also very stable due to its wide hull.
The Discovery 158 is made from Old Town Canoes three layer polythene, making it very durable and lightweight. The Discovery's tough construction and reliability makes it a popular choice with activity centres.
The Old Town Discovery 158 with a useable weight capacity of nearly half a tonne, can carry larger paddlers with ease or a weekends worth of supplies, or lighter paddlers with an abundance of stability and balance
There is plenty of space onboard the Discovery 158 with room for children to sit in with their parents or for an extra seat to be fitted.
