Enigma Canoes Square Stern
Enigma Canoes’ North American built line up of Canoes, includes the Enigma Canoes Square Stern 126, this is a triple layer canoe made in Canada designed around stability and the ability to fit a motor to the rear.
The Enigma Canoes Square Stern 126 as mentioned in the name, is designed around the flattened rear end of the canoe, this flat section on the rear allows the attachment of either an Electric Outboard Motor or a small Petrol Engine (up to 4HP). If not looking to motorise the Square Stern 126, this canoe also can be paddled through normal canoe paddles, or through the use of oars using the inbuilt sockets for the attachment of oarlocks (not included).
The Enigma Canoes Square Stern 126 comes with three benches of varnished woodwork designed to be comfortable, but also hard wearing and long lasting with rigid moulded seat mounts which brace out the sides of the canoe to increase the rigidity along the length. Another reinforcing feature of the Enigma Canoes Square Stern 126 is the full-length keel which increases the hull strength while also improving the handling and tracking, without compromising on the width and stability.
The inclusion of a square stern on a canoe has also been featured by brands such as Old Town, and have allowed fisherman on inland waterways to have a drier craft than fishing kayaks due to the high sides and raised seating positions, with some fisherman even standing due to the width.
This Enigma Canoe is made in Canada out of some of a triple foam core layer plastic designed to last but also inherently buoyant meaning you can maximise the space and kit inside of the canoe.
