Enigma Nimrod 14
The Enigma Nimrod 14 is a UK made canoe. The 14ft length makes it a perfect choice for a solo paddler looking for something a little quicker than a 13ft boat but with the extra room for packing kit or carrying an extra passenger. Designed by Colin Broadway this model follows on from the Mobile Adventure Ontario.
The Nimrod 14 is an all-round canoe. The shallow v-shaped hull provides good initial stability, which alongside the extra length over the RTI 13 makes for a noticeable difference in forward momentum and tracking. All of this creates a stable, agile and easily paddled canoe that is great for use on open flat water, canal and estuary or slow flowing river trips.
The plastic build makes for a durable hull which will last while still being light enough to lift up onto your car roof when traveling from home to the water. The material allows you to confidently get on the water without worrying about damaging the boat if there are some rocks ahead or whilst dragging it out and onto the shore at the take out after an evening paddle.
The Nimrod 14 is a great compact tandem boat providing space for yourself and a paddling buddy or offers suitable solo open boat which tracks well, whilst being agile when needed and provides more room for the potential to be loaded up for an overnighter or just offer some extra room for your dog then the Nimrod 14 is for you.
